Following on from
our success in 2006, Dodgy Clutch returned to the Alnwick Garden,
Northumberland for 'Advent in Alnwick' in 2007.
The events took place
on Saturdays throughout December, beginning with an advent lantern
parade. Workshops took place throughout the day, culminating
in a beautiful lantern procession around the gardens later that
evening.
Week 2 brought the
Snow Queen, Jack Frost and the Beaver, ending in a procession
around the garden culminating in pyrotechnics above the Queen
and her skeletons.
The final week saw
a second lantern procession around the gardens, accompanied
by the grand 'Holly King', who bannished the Snow Queen from
the Garden with the help of Beaver. The evening ended with a
Christmas Tree fire drawing with a visit from Father Christmas
himself.
